Nickel plating is an electrolytic treatment whose purpose is to raise the surface characteristics of processed materials (hardness, resistance to external agents, aesthetics).
The various types of nickel plating are usually distinguished on the basis of the thickness of the coating while the superficial appearance can vary, in response to customer needs, from shiny to semi-glossy. The final color is silvery gray.
